There are various places in every community\nthat accept donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spike Stitches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This block is used\nworking spike stitches. Spike Stitches are essentially inserting your hook\nthrough your fabric and pulling up a loop. This loop is pulled up to the height\nof the current row to have the stitch finished. This gives a unique ability to\ncreate fascinating lines of color. In this block I have worked 5 spiked\nstitches together to create an affect similar to a leaf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gauge: 7\u201dx9\u201d rectangle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medium weight yarn, in\n2 colors MC (main color), CC1, CC2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">K\/10 \u00bd\/ 6.5mm hook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special Stitches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spike Leaf (SL):<\/strong>&nbsp;Insert hook in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> stitch\nbackward from the hook and 1 row below, yo, pull up a loop, yo, insert hook in\nthe 1<sup>st<\/sup> stitch backward from the hook and 2 rows below, yo, pull up\na loop, yo, insert hook in stitch directly below and 3 rows below, yo, pull up\na loop, yo, insert hook in stitch 1 stitch forward from hook and 2 rows below,\nyo, pull up a loop, yo, insert hook in stitch 2 stitches forward from hook and\n1 row below, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through all 10 loops on hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\"
